I had been watching Usagi Electric's journey over the years creating the replica Centurion machine he called the Centurion mini. I decided to model it in fusion360 one day, but then I decided to make it a real miniature

I started by printing all the pieces, some needed modified after testing, and then I began putting it all together. some parts are painted, others are cut out of walnut plywood. I stained the plywood a little darker to try to match the color on the real thing.

I put a raspberry Pi Zero w 1.1 inside, ran power to the back panel, and a USB hub, so there can be an external USB-A port. There is also a USB-RS232 adapter which I mounted on the back.

I eventually got the serial terminal to work over the USB adapter. Now all I need to do is get the Centurion emulator working.

The front "Hawk drive" is removable, and I printed a "Phoenix drive" as well that can slide in it's place.

Here's a folder of images of the work over the last month or so. Check out the videos above for a better explanation.

Feel free to reach out with any questions.
